Life is Short, Eat Dessert First
DAY ONE
Create your own chocolate dipped creation at Sher Bliss, a chocolatier that also sells a large selection of wine. Can’t decided between the worlds of wine and chocolate? Create a chocolate dipped wine bottle!
Enjoy a catered lunch at the Wyandotte Winery. After lunch, sample Wyandotte’s wonderful wines such as the Sweet Pomegranate Wine labeled “Hope”. Part of the proceeds from each bottle of this wine help fund cancer research. For a wonderful treat to top off your lunch and wine tasting, try a piece of their Venetian Wine Cake, specially created with rosemary to pay tribute to the City’s designation as Herb Capital of Ohio.
Located in the “Herb Capital of Ohio,” the OhioHerb Education Center features everything herbal and is a perfect destination, be it herb enthusiast or not!

DAY ONE
Calling all chefs! Mix it up with your grandchild at Young Chefs Academy, where nutritionally conscious instructors teach you and your grandchild how to prepare a themed meal. Next, travel south to the Gahanna Historical Settlement, where you can tour two historic homes and learn about games and toys from the 19th century. Finally, end your night at the coolest place in Gahanna, GlowPutt, an indoor miniature golf facility that is completely glow-in-the-dark!
DAY TWO
Get the blood flowing in those legs and learn a thing or two about nature during a walk through the Creekside Park, where you can also wade in the water, fish or simply bask in the sun. At Gahanna’s unique shopping venue, Creekside Gahanna where you can make a Melt & Pour Soap or Bubbledough bubble bath at Honey Grove Botanicals. End this special bonding trip with a paddleboat ride down the Big Walnut Creek. Enjoy your lunch at Rotelli Pizza Pasta Perfect where you both can make your own pizza.

Start the season to be merry out with a bang! This festive daytrip features the Holiday Lights! Parade & Festival, and holiday themed experiences.
DAY ONE
Start out this festive trip at the Ohio Herb Education Center, where you will learn to make an herbal wreath for the holidays. Next, spend some time at Creekside and Olde Gahanna, where there are numerous holiday themed experiences to discover. Stop by Upscale Resale to gain some tips on decorating for the holidays. Discover the world of aromatherapy at Honey Grove Botanicals, dashing your home spa with hints of cinnamon and peppermint. Grab a glass of hot chocolate before you head to Mill Street to watch the Holiday Lights! Parade at dusk. Finish this memorable day with a stroll through the Winter Wonderland at Creekside Park.

A brief overview of the world of herbs, especially at the Scented Garden, will kick-start your senses for what lies ahead! Next, sit back and relax as you learn how to create your own home spa at Honey Grove Botanicals. The fun begins when you learn to make your own bath salts, bath oils, or herbal tea baths. Not only will you be inspired and enriched, but will leave with goodies that you've created! Enjoy a
delicious herb-infused lunch overlooking the Big Walnut Creek at Mezzo Italian Kitchen. Give your group some free time at Creekside Gahanna where they can choose from mani/pedis at Golden Nail Salon, massages at the Salon on Mill, create a Pandora Bracelet at Jewels & More, receive an Astrological reading at Zodiac and more!
