Parks
Academy Park
1201 Cherry Bottom Road
This park is the largest in Gahanna with 93 acres, seven baseball diamonds and two basketball courts. Nature trails, fishing and a jogging track are just some of the highlights available.
Creekside Park
123 Mill Street
This beautiful five-acre park is the centerpiece of historic Olde Gahanna. Best known for its lovely waterfall, the park invites visitors to stroll the walkways, enjoy a nostalgic picnic, or take a paddle boat ride, fish, or wade in the delightful water of the meandering Big Walnut Creek. *Photo by Teresa Butler.

Gahanna Woods State Nature Preserve

Explore 50 acres of some of the State’s most exceptional wildflowers, nature trails, and open meadows in this lovely park. Birdwatchers, this is the place for you!
Geroux Herb Gardens

Take a respite from the chaotic pace of life at this delightful and heady park filled with herbs and botanical delights. One visit is all it takes to see why Gahanna is named the “Herb Capitol of Ohio”.
Hannah Park

Hannah Park is now open and ready for visitors! The park features tennis and basketball courts, playground, baseball diamond and walking trails. There is also plenty of green space, ponds, and a rentable, covered shelter.
Headley Park

This park features 12 soccer fields, one softball field, two sand volleyball courts and a playground.
McCorkle Park
200 McCutcheon Road
Fishing, hiking and playground are available here as well as three football fields and a soccer field.
Pizzurro Park
940 South Hamilton Road
This park is family friendly and includes a fenced dog park, with separate large dog, small dog and agility training areas. Amenities include a small shelter, youth playground, open areas and access to Big Walnut Creek.
The BASE at Shull Park

This specialty park is home to the BASE, a skate park with ramps, rails and other skate and bike challenges. Inline hockey and soccer are also played at this park just east of Olde Gahanna.
Woodside Green Park
213 Camrose Court
Woodside Green Park is another of Gahanna's premier community parks, located in the heart of a residential neighborhood. Paved multipurpose trails throughout the park connect north to Academy Park and south to the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course, providing a scenic nature hike or bike ride close to home. Amenities include a shelter house, fishing pond, softball diamond, playground, public restrooms and ample parking.

This tree-lined track is a short, but challenging course. Water comes into play on five of the nine holes. Three of the holes are protected by greenside bunkers. This course is great for the novice golfer but still challenging enough for the more experienced. 9 hole, 35 par municipal course.
